Michael Ching is a photographer, food reviewer and former mystery diner based out of Honolulu. Specializing in Food, Cultural events especially Japanese Bon Dances, his photographic portfolio covers the island of Oahu. Throughout his work, one can see that he combines his love of eating with his fascination of the world’s diverse cultures. Each of his photographs tells a story of life on this planet.
Born and raised on O‘ahu, Hawaiʻi. I’ve spent a good portion of my life in Manoa though I currently in Kakaako. Though I have also spent some time growing up in Nuuanu, Kailua, Kaimuki, Kahaluu/Kaneohe, and Waianae. While I don’t consider myself an expert I do consider myself very knowledgeable about these areas for the most part (this is me trying to be humble and probably failing).
Michael became a photographer back in 2010, and has been a Yelp Elite for the past 16 years.
